
Jennifer always dreamed of being multi-tasking and a star. Growing up, she enjoyed a variety of musical styles, including Afro-Caribbean music like salsa, merengue and the bachata as well as popular music such as pop, hip-hop and R&B. The music she loved was fascinated by the cinema industry. West Side Story, a musical by Rita Moreno (1961), was her most significant source of inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer wasn't just a talented entertainer. Also, she attended eight years at a Catholic elementary school called Holy Family. Jennifer then completed her four-year degree at Preston High School. Jennifer performed well in the sports department at school and competed in tennis and track and field. Her entire life was growing up in a house with two stories located in the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer quit her home at the age of was 18 , and moved in with her parents. Lopez began working at an office for lawyers while partying at night.
